"You are being watched"- Person of interest (疑犯追蹤)(電視劇)

"You are being watched.
The government has a secret system--a machine that spies on you every hour of every day.
I designed the machine to detect acts of terror but it sees everything...violent crimes involving ordinary people;  the government considered irrelevant. We don't.
Hunted by the authorities, we work in secret. You will never find us.
But whether victim or perpetrator, if your number's up,
we'll find you."

(Season 2 and 3 opening voice-over by Harold Finch (Michael Emerson)

A great TV series contain some vital element: A story evolve with a simple idea, but bloom and shining like a vivid star.  Multiple events that seems totally irrelevant bump into each other and make you surprise: these things are "relevant"!

Person of interest have all the elements.

Person of interest let us discover what did American feel after 911. There were lots of typical types of human just between you and me.

Story introduction
Harold Finch(Michael Emerson) was a billionaire, genius and secret person. He build a "machine that watch on every body for the purpose of detect acts of terror and made 911 never happen again.

However, the "machine" could find acts of terror, but also discover violent crime involving ordinary people.
Finch was not suppose to help these people, nevertheless, he changed his mind after a terrible accident.

He find a partner- John Reese(Jim Caviezel) to help him to accomplish the mission and saved lives in our daily life.

Things became much more complicated when they reveal the dark and mysterious face of our society......

This TV series was co-produced by J.J Abrams and Jonathan Nolan. Jonathan was responsible for plotting all the story and screenplay.

His story would never let you down!

Main actors:
Harold Finch
As a eccentric but genius billionaire. Emerson really do a great job on the screen. Not just confident but also adorable(yes, adorable!).

John Reese
Jim Caviezel had a gift at being a charming, depressed but powerful man.

Both of John and Harold were hurt by terrible tragedy, however, they help each other to move on by helping others who were in great danger.

Spies and secret departments in U.S.A after 911
Maybe it frightened well-protected American, maybe they want to use this situation to get more resource and take control to the whole world, the U.S. government was swarmed with "secret government" in their country.
They are more than 10 thousand "secret department" and over 760 thousand people whose work is "classified" (Data from wiki leaks)

After sending army to west-Asia to "protect our people", many people thought that the U.S. government was over-reaction. Meanwhile, these acts to "protect our people" really challenge our value of "Privacy" and the true meaning of "Freedom".

We can take a view of this situation in Person of interest. Maybe you will know what frighten them, and what are the American think about this situation.
